THE LOUISVILLE 2035 VISION PLAN IS BOTH STRATEGIC AND COMPREHENSIVE PLAN TO THE SCHOOL GUIDE LAND USE AND ZONING DECISIONS. IT WILL GUIDE BUDGET DECISIONS AND STAFF PRIORITIES USED TO ADDRESS A WIDE RANGE OF TOPICS, SUCH AS

THE KEY THING THAT IS IMPORTANT ABOUT THE LOUISVILLE 2035 VISION PLAN IS THAT IT WILL BE PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT. THIS FOUNDATION OF PUBLIC INPUT HELPS US KNOW THAT WE ARE GOING THE DIRECTION THAT COMMUNITY WANTS US TO GO IN AND MAKE SURE THAT WE HAVE CONFIDENCE IN THE DECISIONS WE ARE MAKING. IT WILL LAYOUT BIG MOVES OR GOALS FOR THE CITY TO WORK TOWARDS AND IT WILL ALSO GIVE IDEAS ON STRATEGIES TO ACHIEVE THOSE GOALS. THIS FORMAT HAS WORKED FAIRLY WELL WITH OUR 2025 PLAN AND WE HAVE BIG GOALS THAT WE WORK TOWARDS, SO WE WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF OPPORTUNITIES AND HAVE SPECIFIC DIRECTION AND WORK THAT STAFF CAN PURSUE. THIS HELPS US ALIGN OUR WORK WITH THE COMMUNITY VISION, BUT ALSO COMMUNITY AGENCIES WITH ORGANIZATIONS AND DEVELOPMENT. OUR CURRENT BOW AND PLAN IS THE LOUISVILLE 25 PLAN, BECAUSE WE WANT TO CELIBATE THE CENTENNIAL THIS YEAR THAT WAS ORIGINALLY ADOPTED IN 2014 AND UPDATED IN 2021 UPDATED ON OUR WEBSITE.
