WE WILL BE BRINGING UP GRANT ACCEPTANCE WITH THE CITY COUNCIL AT SOME POINT, WE ARE LOOKING AT THE AGREEMENT OF THE CODD, SO WE HAVE NOT ACCEPTED THE GRANT YET, THERE HAS NOT BEEN AN AWARD.THIS PROJECT, WILL BE DONE ON SOUTH MILL STREET, THE BACKEND PARKING AND LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING, STREET FURNITURE, THINGS OF THAT NATURE, SO IT WILL LOOK VERY MUCH LIKE WHAT WE HAVE DONE TO THE NORTH , YOU WILL SEE THE LITTLE RED AREA DOWN AT THE BOTTOM. THAT IS THE PIECE THAT D.O.T. WILL BE BUILDING FOR US ON THE I 35 PROJECT, OVERLOOKING THE INTERSECTION , SO, THERE AGAIN, THE STATE IS JUMPING INTO THAT PIECE, TOO. THE NEXT PROJECT, A HERITAGE PARK AND TRAIL BOARDWALK. THIS IS A COMBINATION PROJECT . THIS PROJECT FUNDS A BOARD WALK AROUND THE BODY OF WATER THAT SITS ON THE EAST SIDE OF SALT AVENUE, AND IT WILL ALSO CONNECT A TRAIL , TO FILL IN A GAP WHERE WE DON'T HAVE TRAILS, SO THAT EVERYTHING OUT THERE IS CONTINUOUS. RIGHT NOW, WE HAVE ONLY GOT PRELIMINARY DESIGN FUNDING AND THE REASON FOR THAT IS THAT WE HAVE TO GO TO THE CORPS OF ENGINEERS, TO GET APPROVAL , TO BUILD THIS BOARDWALK STRUCTURE AROUND THE FIELD, TO SEE IF WE WILL BE SUCCESSFUL OR NOT.
